Wheels: Fendi x Maserati GranCabrio

Shit is too fresh.

After announcing the interesting collaboration between fashion house Fendi and Maserati on the GranCabrio the other week, we can give you a detailed look today at the convertible sportscar and show you the details that Fendi changed and added.

Next to the special color combination, the Fendi monogram logo appears on the wheels and is also stitched into the leather seats of the car. Upon opening the doors, a Fendi logo will be looking at you, placed on the bottom of the door frame in silver. Inside you will find a special numbered placket hinting at the collaboration. If you want to see the car live, you will have to go to the Frankfurt Auto show in September.

Dopeness: Sony Alpha NEX-7 x Compact Interchangeable Lens Camera With 24.3 Megapixel Resolution

Ever so more, the introductions of smaller imaging sensors are eaten away prosumer marketshare once dominated by large DSLR camera systems. Take the new Alpha NEX-7 from Sony, a compact camera system with interchangeable lens options rated at a stunning 24.3-megapixel image resolution. That is more than majority of DSLR out in the market today, and only 10.3 ounces (or 291 grams) in weight. Armed with the new Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor developed by , the NEX-7 is able to perform 10 fps, the fastest shooting speed of any mirror-less digital cameras to date. The new sensor, along with a new BIONZ image processing unit, NEX-7 is also able to deliver a sensitivity range of ISO 100-16000.

Complexities in technical features aside, designers at Sony made certain the user interface is intuitive and flexible. Unmarked control dials on top, plus the control wheel near the display on back. provide near limitless arrangements in customizable functions. A XGA OLED TruFInder viewfinder and a 3-inch Xtra Fine LCD display create the options of a rangefinder and a conventional digital camera.  In addition to still photography, its AVCHD Full HD is able to capture 1080p video.

Available as a kit with an exclusive 18-55 mm zoom lens in black for $1350, the NEX-7 will also be available as a body-only purchase for $1200. Set to launch later this year in November.

As Island Def Jam’s new chairman Barry Weiss continues his restructuring of Universal and Def Jam records he has brought on producer to the stars No I.D. to be the Executive Vice President of A&R operations at the label.  On his new role at the label I.D. says:
