VINTAGE: George Michael “Father Figure”

george michael was killing it during this period. “father figure” was one of my favorite songs off of the “faith” album. he is an incredible songwriter and his visuals between “faith” & “listen without prejudice” were the dopeness.

  1. Another one of my favorites! This song was so sexy. This was the era of supermodels *wink* Love George Michael! Lyrics really meant something back then. Now it’s just straight to the point-bang, bang, bang. I’m over that. Give me some poetic words, stimulate my mind.

  2. “Faith” was one of my favorite songs back in ’88. I was 3yrs old and I swore I would marry George Michael back then. Others that topped the list were “Love Shack” by the B-52s, Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors”, and Bobby McPherrin’s “Don’t Worry Be Happy”. I have an intricate taste in music as you can see 🙂
